MISSION   The Center for Understanding Islam seeks to present an enlightened understanding of Islam in America. Our focus is education and we emphasize the common humanity of people of all faiths, rather than taking sides on political issues.   GOALS & OBJECTIVES Organize workshops and seminars on Islam Publish discussion guides, articles, and books on  FAQs (frequently asked questions) Provide commentators for radio, TV, and the print media Marshal expertise on issues of conscience from Muslim and non-Muslim scholars Organize retreats for Muslim and non-Muslim youth and community leaders Organize a Speakers Bureau on Islam.
